Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” will be performed in Allaert Auditorium at St. Ambrose University’s Galvin Fine Arts Center this summer. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 8, and 3 p.m., Sunday, June 10. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, May 15. Purchase Tickets Here
Dr. Nathan Windt, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities for St. Ambrose University, will conduct, while Dr. Michelle Crouch, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music at Augustana College, will provide stage direction. Opera Quad Cities will serve as the overall production producer in collaboration with Genesius Guild, Opera@Augustana, and the St. Ambrose University Music Department.
This new collaboration will focus upon the tradition of local singers, orchestra members, and technical theatre personnel.
